After studying 6 years in dance, starting at Université du Québec à Montréal and moving forward to LADMMI where she graduated in 2007, Anne Thériault explores the dance scene through many angles. As a dancer, Anne worked with Marie Béland, Nicolas Cantin, Stéphanie Chêne (Paris), Dany Desjardins, Lynda Gaudreau and Dave St-Pierre. In 2006, she was invited to present a short performance in several Maisons de la Culture, as part of the tenth edition of Les Printemps de la Danse 2006. She regularly proposes her creations to Espace Tangente (Valeur ajoutée in 2006 and Valeur ajoutée ajoutée in 2007). She also participated to CLASH 08 and CLASH 09, an event initiated by Lynda Gaudreau. The young artist is also part of artistic hybrid projects that mix creation and performance like La 2e Porte à Gauche and Le P.I.Q.U.A.N.T. Recently, she just got back from France where she was offered a research residency at the Collectif 12.
