Contact Improvisation & Instantaneous Composition

Teacher: Andrew de Lotbinière Harwood
Dates: Dec 7-11 (5 days) • Mon-Fri, 9:30am to 12:30pm
Location: Studio 303
Cost: $75
Through various improvisation techniques, this class aims to generate spontaneous movements in solos, duos or groups. We will try to create a link between partnering work (contact improv.) and improvisation work (solo/group). This work is a continuous artistic development process, which will improve interpretation, creation and composition skills. A basic training in improvisation is essential and a regular participation is highly recommended.
