An artistic encounter between a renowned violinist and a Swiss dancer/performer.
When your standstill moves
With this new performance Malcolm Goldstein and Dorothea Rust continue their collaboration since the early 90s. They focus on the given situation in the performance space, exploring it seismographically with the sound of the violin, voice, movement, using everyday and natural material. Acoustic and gestural movement lead into open sound and movement improvisation. All this together composing the texture of an imaginary landscape full of subtleties, suspense and intensity.
