nous sommes trois… by Corpuscule Danse

…three in action/reaction… his arms are replacing theirs, their feet… replaces his… see above, move from below… run in place, cling to something if we can. To need each other, to need her, him, them… To be interdependent, irreplaceable!

It looks like happiness: it sparkles like Coca Cola and smells sweet.
It looks like happiness, but it’s not.
We have all we need to be happy, but we’re not.
There is only one way to survive: pretend!
Two castaways of our world of appearances expose their survival strategies:
false pretences, and substitutes are right around the corner!

Sur la pointe de tes doigts je t’écoute du bout des lèvres by Estelle Charron/AllzEs danse
Performers: Élise Hardy, Judith Bélisle & Steeve Bilodeau
Artistic Painter: Philippe Caron
Assistant & Outside Eye: Karine Rathle

Regarde mes mots
Écoute mon mouvement
et réponds-moi
sur la pointe de tes doigts

Tracked by Propeller Dance
Co-Choreographers: Renata Soutter & Shara Weaver
Performers: Bella Bowes, Julia Gutsik, Alan Shain
Video Design and Manipulation: Elizabeth MacKinnon
Sound: Dominique Saint-Pierre

Propeller Dance’s new work Tracked is an exploration of the intimate and solitary journeys we take. Tracked is inspired by the charts and courses of our past and the turbulence and obstacles we absorb and digest. Employing video manipulation, this new work-in-progress amplifies the beauty and power of the authentic body, highlighting the diversity of unbridled expression that is the essence of our humanity.
