Taking the Leap, a guide to self-producing for emerging dance artists in Montreal – went virtual during the International Dance Day with its own micro-site: www.takingtheleap.ca.

This free and bilingual online guidebook offers a wide variety of resources for young artists with how-to guidelines regarding production, presenting, promotion, touring and budgeting.

Furthermore, it provides online directories to organizations and opportunities here and abroad that can support, present, and tour their work. It is THE guide to bookmark!

Since its first publication in 2002, Taking the Leap has been distributed in Montreal dance organizations and has been downloaded close to 5000 times. We are thrilled that this publication is now even more accessible.
