As of 2001 she began her choreographic explorations through the creation of solos and group pieces. She is the founding member of the new dance company LORGANISME, serving as its co-artistic director since its creation in 2010. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lorganisme.com\/\">www.lorganisme.com<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>TOURING EXPERIENCE ( IN A NUTSHELL )<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I am more often in town than I am out. I choose to work more often within my community because I have a young family, but I try to present my work out of town at least two times a year.<\/li>\n<li>From the beginning I have been independent, but when I was given the opportunity to present at the FTA, I called upon an agent in order to help me with that work. Since, Marc Langlois takes care of my two latest creations. Sincerely though, there is still a lot of work to do even when you have an agent.<\/li>\n<li>For my first experiences I applied to calls for submissions that interested me.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>SELECT PERFORMANCES AND RESIDENCY EXPERIENCES<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Festival ArthDanTh\u00e9, Vanves, France<\/li>\n<li>Festival Via, Maubeuge, France<\/li>\n<li>OFFTA, Montreal<\/li>\n<li>Kinetic Studio, Halifax<\/li>\n<li>Series 808, Toronto<\/li>\n<li>Judson Church, New York City<\/li>\n<li>Dance Space Center, New York City<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>THE ANECDOTES<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1) Festival ArthDanTh\u00e9<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>What:<\/strong> Performance at a festival<br \/>\n<strong>Who:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theatre-vanves.fr\/\">Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Vanves<\/a> (Jos\u00e9 Alfarroba, Director)<br \/>\n<strong>Where:<\/strong> Vanves, France<br \/>\n<strong>When:<\/strong> Four days in March 2012. There were two years between the initial contact and the performance.<\/p>\n<p>In 2012 I presented work at the OFFTA. I sent invitations by email to several colleagues from the dance community. Eventually Marie-Andr\u00e9e Gougeon, General Manager of Daniel L\u00e9veill\u00e9 Danse, replied, saying that she\u2019d like to attend with a few presenters, but that the scheduling was complicated \u2013 it was impossible to find a night where everyone in the group was available. In the end they were able to come to the afternoon dress rehearsal. After the presentation, Jos\u00e9 Alfarroba seemed very interested in the piece. From that moment on, we kept in contact with Marie-Andr\u00e9e and him. The following year they came back to see the same piece at the FTA, and confirmed their interest. The piece was part of the Festival ArthDanTh\u00e9, in an event that hosted several Montreal artists, with structural support from the Daniel L\u00e9veill\u00e9 Danse company. On a financial level, we were very lucky, since the event was very well organized. We were paid a presentation fee, a per diem, and for some rehearsal hours, and accommodation and travel were also covered. Jos\u00e9 and his team were very welcoming and we were able to see a few other shows while we were there. ArtDanTh\u00e9 is such a dynamic festival with so many artists and shows, but it still manages to keep things down-to-earth and welcoming. It was a unique opportunity to be among the chosen artists. It was the first time that I presented my work outside of the country in such a professional manner, with a work visa, payment and a technician. Being given the support of an established company and the help of my agent was very instructive.
