Thank you!<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<p><strong>CONTENT \/\/ <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This workshop explores a choreographic system in which listening is the driving force and the spiral is the answer. We will look at a simple yet complex system where DOING is subtracted in favor of BEING. We will learn and explore the notions of spontaneous composition, take turns being a spectator\/participant and a performer\/host. We will develop our listening and unfold all of its beauty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will celebrate this week of exploration and togetherness through a 24 hour ritual crossing. We will slide our bodies into the eternity of spirals, be choreographed by time, drop the masks and become ONE. We will listen to, respect, relay with, and support each other, with all the intelligence of the body and of silence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. + a 24 hour dance ritual (open to the public-friends) in the studio, Saturday 12pm to Sunday 12pm. (Minimum 6 people required).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>ACCESSIBILITY \/\/ <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In each workshop, we will explore the investment of movement through the spiral. Please note that this type of movement can be nauseating, but it usually diminishes and stops with practice. We will discuss the concepts, the issues encountered and the discoveries made in every workshop. We will work on endurance: exhaustion will not be a goal in itself, but will be an element to cope with. Everybody will be a master of their own body and their own experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Listening to the collective will be essential in the practice. We will work with the totality of the body and the senses. Everything will be possible: from microscopic movement to frenetic dance, from laughter to deep introspection. We will get naked without taking off any of our clothes; which will require a great deal of self-awareness and awareness of others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>BIO \/\/ <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sensitive to the rare and precious states of metamorphosis offered by both art and experience, the artist and choreographer <\/span><b>Aur\u00e9lie Pedron<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> creates perpetually renewed encounters that play with duration and create a deep intimacy between location, performer and audience. Unsettling our expectations, the maker reaches out to us to leave a sometimes subtle, yet durable trace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Founded in 2013, her company Lilith &amp; Cie is devoted to the research, creation and dissemination of works intersecting performance, choreography and installation.
