The Studio 303 SPAs<\/strong> – Once a month, our studio becomes a coworking space. With tables set up around the studio, participants are invited to work on their own things in their own time. <\/span>
<\/span>Each SPA centres around a specific topic, with relevant mentors present to answer questions and share their expertise. <\/span>
<\/span>
<\/span>The schedule and set up is designed to recreate a day at the spa: a quiet space with foot baths and massage devices, yoga mats and cushions for stretching and rest, a community lunch midday (gluten free & vegan) and free 10 minute professional chair massage appointments throughout!<\/span><\/p>\n

Mentors at this Grant Spa<\/strong> will go through your grant application and offer individual feedback. They can look into your written content, budget and supporting material. They can also help with clarifying how to best organise your project according to the different sources of fundings available (mostly the Conseil des arts de Montr\u00e9al, Conseil des arts et des lettres du Qu\u00e9bec, Canada Art Council).<\/span><\/p>\n

MENTORS \/\/<\/span> Dorian Nuskind Oder<\/span><\/strong><\/span> + Laurence Dauphinais (LA SERRE)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Born in North Carolina and based in Montreal, Dorian Nuskind-Oder<\/strong> is a choreographer and cultural worker. Actively involved with her local dance milieu, she is an artist-member of the collectively run production company Le Radeau, and is a former board member of the Regroupement Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois de la Danse.<\/p>\n

Laurence Dauphinais <\/strong>trained at the National Theatre School of Canada in performance and works in multidisciplinary creation as a performer, writer, director, scriptwriter and producer. She co-directed the show iShow, which toured Canada and France for two years. Then, with Maxime Carbonneau, she toured her co-creation Siri to Rio de Janeiro, Edinburgh and Dublin after premiering it at the FTA. She then directed Aalaapi at the CTDA, a production that won the Prix des auteurs dramatiques 2019 and was a finalist for the Governor General’s Awards in 2021. The show was revived at the FTA, the Push festival, and the Theatertreffen St\u00fcckemarkt in Berlin, and will tour across Canada this year and next.<\/p>\n
