Cost: <\/strong>25$, 30$ or $35 sliding scale (includes one meal and one massage) \u2014 Email us<\/a> if the price represents a barrier – no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Open to professional artists in the performing arts, dance, circus, performance, theatre and interdisciplinary practices<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Studio 303 SPAs<\/strong> – Once a month, our studio becomes a coworking space. With tables set up around the studio, participants are invited to work on their own things in their own time. <\/span>
<\/span>Each SPA centers around a specific topic, with relevant mentors present to answer questions and share their expertise. <\/span>
<\/span>
<\/span>The schedule and set up is designed to recreate a day at the spa: a quiet space with foot baths and massage devices, yoga mats and cushions for stretching and rest, a community lunch midday (gluten free & vegan) and free 10 minute professional chair massage appointments throughout!<\/span><\/p>\n

Independent artists wear many hats in the process of creating and presenting work. This <\/span>Tech + Prod Spa<\/b> is dedicated to all things production planning. Do you have a presentation coming up? Want to make the most of your next tech residency? Need to clearly express technical needs to partners? Then this is the place to be!<\/span><\/p>\n

Mentors will be present to answer your questions and share their insights. They can review your tech riders, help you plan your productions, and answer all your questions regarding technical know-how and production.<\/span><\/p>\n

MENTORS \/\/<\/span> Jon Cleveland <\/span><\/strong><\/span> +  Rachel Locas (LA SERRE – arts vivants)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jon Cleveland<\/b> is a Montreal based Lighting Designer\/Visual Artist. Working in theatre and dance he has worked with The Segal Centre for The Arts, The National Arts Centre, The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Tangente, Cabal Theatre, Scapegoat Carnivale, Susanna Hood, Lucy M May, Rabbit in the Hat, Malik Nashad Shapre, Rubberband Dance, Dave St Pierre and Kim-Sanh Chau among others. His design for Tragic Queens<\/em> with Cabal Theatre was nominated for a 2017 META award for outstanding lighting design.<\/span><\/p>\n

A graduate of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre-Production program at Coll\u00e8ge Lionel-Groulx, Rachel Locas<\/strong> specializes in stage and production management. Over the past few years, she has held a number of production management positions in theater and dance, notably with Angela Konrad’s La Fabrik and Anne Plamondon Productions. As of spring 2022, Rachel holds the position of Associate Producer at LA SERRE – arts vivants. A sparkling water and performing arts enthusiast, Rachel’s exuberance and benevolence set her apart. She loves to see projects through to completion. Her organizational skills are put to good use when it’s time to dream big and lead production teams.<\/p>\n
