Tax Spa
Saturday, April 27th, 2024– 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. @ Studio 303
Cost: $25, $30 or $35 sliding scale (includes one meal and one massage) — Email us if the price represents a barrier – no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

… Or maybe you’re not so enthused about doing your taxes? Join us at the Tax Spa and we’ll get through it together! Take a DIY approach to filing with an expert by your side to encourage and support you.
Lauren Semeschuk, mentor for this spa, will be present to help you navigate the online platform for tax filing and resolve your sticky questions.
Please come ready with:
- Receipts categorized in a spreadsheet. Don’t forget your medical expenses!
- All applicable items from the checklist that you have received for 2022 – including all Notices of Assessment from both CRA and RQ.
- Complete copy of what was filed for your last year’s tax returns (PDF).
- Tax Software downloaded and looked at/started – U-file or other.
Open to professional artists in the performing arts, dance, circus, performance, theatre and interdisciplinary practices!

Studio 303 has been a home base for artists for 35 years!
We proudly keep renewing our mission to create and maintain a welcoming creative space for dancers and artists.
We manage to support the growth of our community through a full and varied program of continuous training and support for creation: that's the tip of the iceberg!
To illustrate our internal reflections, we rigorously revamped and published our policies (here). This allows us to better reflect and enhance our practices in terms of accessibility, equity and inclusion, ecological responsibility, salary scales and working conditions.
