UPCOMING WORKSHOP
Christoper Willes — Asking Through Scores
January 13 to 17, 2025
9:30 am to 12:30 pm
$95 for the full week
What is a score, and what goes beyond it? Beyond being a means of preserving the ideas of its author(s), a score invites others to interpret these ideas and experiment with them in new ways.
A score asks its readers to become curious, to listen, to play, to act or break the rules and, in so doing, to develop common questions and navigate our capacity to act. A score has life on its mind. And so, in a way, a score has, in its essence, a collaborative process.
◗ 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 available for artists identifying as Indigenous, Black, and/or People of colour, disabled or Deaf artists, and transgender artists. (Choose this option at registration!)
