This workshop is based on Noguchi Taiso and Butoh.
In this workshop, we do not convey any fixed form or technique, but the principles that form the basis of movement (spiral, wave, gravity, emotion, etc.) as well as imagination. The focus will be on everyday movements such as standing and walking, as well as forms of emotional expression.
◗ 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 available for artists identifying as Indigenous, Black, and/or People of colour, disabled or Deaf artists, and transgender artists. (Choose this option at registration!)
