CONTENT

This class invites you to dive into the wonderful world of Bollywood, exploring its vibrant and expressive energy. We’ll explore diverse influences, including Indian classical and folk dances, as well as contemporary influences, for a dynamic, accessible and inclusive experience.
Each session begins with an opening ritual followed by a dynamic warm-up. We work on technical exercises such as mudras (hand gestures), head movements, footwork and rhythm. The emphasis is on interpretation, storytelling and emotion, essential elements of this dance. Learning a choreography will enhance your technique, fluidity and expressiveness.
Beyond the technical aspect, this course is an immersive experience in a rich and colorful culture. It’s an opportunity to build your self-confidence, explore your expressiveness and creativity, and have fun at the same time. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, join us in celebrating the joy and diversity of Bollywood dance.
