Objective

This class offers an introduction to breaking through an accessible, fun approach focused on the joy of movement. Through groove, energy, and the fundamentals of breaking, participants will develop their coordination, musicality, physical ease, and confidence.
The class will also provide a space to explore creativity, discover different ways of moving, and develop a personal style. By the end of the course, participants will leave with a better understanding of breaking, solid technical foundations, and, above all, a desire to continue dancing, exploring, and expressing themselves through movement.

Content

Each class will begin with a dynamic warm-up to prepare the body and develop coordination. Guided exercises will then allow participants to explore groove, rhythm, energy, and the fundamentals of breaking. Participants will gradually learn simple moves and sequences while working on their musicality and spatial awareness.
Exercises focused on exploration, improvisation, and repetition will help participants internalize the concepts covered and encourage creativity. The class will place great emphasis on group dynamics: learning together, encouraging one another, sharing, observing, and celebrating each person’s progress. The goal is to create a supportive, energizing, and collaborative environment.
