CONTENT // Everyone knows they should exercise but developing a habit of it can be quite a rocky road. This course focuses on the important ingredients of behavior change needed to keep exercising, just for you. You have what it takes! Exercise for ME is especially good for those who want to exercise for the immediate brain (mood), energy or sleep benefits. Each week we exercise together with unique motivational coaching, in a non-intimidating space. Following exercise, we practice important skills needed to keep us showing up or getting out there; keeping new years resolutions alive for the first time perhaps?
We do all this while having fun and building community. NO Spandex required:) Wear comfortable clothing and bring indoor shoes.
BIO // Louise Lockhart is a Registered Nurse, and Certified Group Fitness Instructor. She is an award-winning, innovative, health promoter in her principal career as a nurse. She is enthusiastic about passing on the evidence from researchers so that you know the important ingredients needed for getting into exercise FOR YOU, FOR GOOD. She creates a very inclusive and supportive atmosphere while teaching practical skills that can be used in many life situations.
Evening classes are open to all levels, and it’s always possible to drop-in without registering in advance.
