Inspired by Studio 303โs Queer Performance Camp, Mini Q is a one-day gathering born from the ongoing desire to queerly belong โ to celebrate queer alternative ways of being and connecting with the world we live in.
In this special edition of Mini Q, we invite you to a cozy queer movie night featuring two influential films that explore memory, identity, and collective queer futures.

Mรก Sร i Gรฒn (dir. Khoa Lรช)
In Saigon, family culture carries on as it has for centuries, even when blood ties are broken. Through a mosaic of intimate portraits, Mรก Sร i Gรฒn explores humanityโs universal desire for love, acceptance, connection and belonging through an LGBTQ+ lens. The film is a love letter โ a bittersweet ode to a comforting yet disturbing mother, to a city that is as liberating as it is oppressive.

Both, Instrument & Sound (dir. Sharlene Bamboat)
Both, Instrument & Sound follows the life of 80 year old Tony as he describes his process of political activism from the 1970s onwards. The 16mm film employs tension as an aesthetic strategy, to explore solidarity, collective struggle, and the transformation of these values under neoliberalism.
