Taxes and money – managing income and expenses, especially in relation to taxes, GST and QST
Grant Labs are full-day sessions dedicated to artists working on grant applications. This activity is intended for independent professional artists working in the live arts and applying at one of the Art Councils (CAM, CALQ or CAC)

DAY STRUCTURE
Upon arrival, artists can book a 30-minute one-on-one meeting with a mentor. During this meeting, the mentor will provide feedback on the artist’s grant application. For the rest of the day, the office becomes a quiet coworking space, with coffee, snacks, and a printer available.
From noon to 1 p.m., participants and the team share a meal together (bring your own lunch). An informal presentation on a specific theme will be offered, followed by a group discussion and information exchange.
