An embodied interrogation of our internal and external relationships to power. using performance strategies, movement/embodied practices, discussion, play and other modes of engagement we will acknowledge how power and hierarchies influence our bodies and find methods of confronting, negotiating, confusing, refusing, manipulating, and playing with power. Looking to foster an open, fun, critical, nuanced, complicated, and supportive space. All people welcome. This workshop is related to an in process performance this is an artwork by keyon gaskin, which was performed in the VIVA Performance Art Festival in Montreal 2017.
keyon gaskin prefers not to contextualize themselves with their credentials.
All workshops are for professional performing artists. Some require advanced dance training.
