Studio 303 is located on the ground floor of the 4001 Berri building.
4001 Berri’s main entrance has three steps and is therefore not accessible to people using wheelchairs.
Studio 303’s main entrance, called Garage Entrance, is accessible. This double garage door is located to the left of the 4001 Berri’s main entrance. A portable ramp can be installed upon request to overcome a threshold of approximately 3 inches.
The studio, changing room, and washroom are universally accessible.

> Orange line : Sherbrooke Station, 700 metres away, no elevator.
> Mont-Royal Station: 650 metres away, with elevators.
By bus
> Bus routes 31 and 361 stop at the corner of Saint-Denis Street and Duluth Avenue.
By paratransit
Via the STM’s paratransit service (minimum 1 hour on site).
In front of the building, there is no drop-off area, but there is usually room to get off the bus since parking is prohibited.

Bathroom
Room size: 85” x 75” (215 cm x 190 cm), door width of 32.5” (825 cm) and sink at a height of 31” (79 cm). There are 2 support bars installed on each side of the toilet.
A first aid kit, hygiene items and masks are placed on the wood shelves and can be used freely.
There is limited maneuvering space as the door opens inward 47″ x 47″ (120 cm x 120 cm) an the toilet seat is low at 15″ (38 cm), the horizontal grab bar is low as well, at 29.5″ (75 cm) and the transfer area is restricted on the side of the toilet bowl 20.8″ (53 cm).
When seated, it may be difficult to access the sanitary waste bin at 56.7″ (144 cm) and the paper towel dispenser which is raised to 50.3″ (128 cm).
Studio
The doors of the studio are not automatic but can be propped open. Both entrances to our studios are equipped with ramps (3% and 4% inclination).
The studio is a large empty space with some movable furniture (a few tables, chairs, and stage stairs), allowing a clear path for people using mobility devices. The floor of the garage entrance is made of concrete, whereas the floor of the studio has hardwood floors. A water fountain is available in the changing room, the taps are at a height of 29″ (75 cm). The performance and studio space is at floor level.
Risers are set up for some events. Front row seating is at floor level either directly on the ground with cushions, on benches or on chairs.
Changing room
The entrance to the changing room is accessible from the studio via a ramp, and from the corridor via the secondary entrance door. The doorstep of that entrance is not flush however. The width of the second door’s corridor is 42″ (107 cm) as it is also used as a storage area for folding chairs, cushions and a coat rack. The threshold of the changing room’s entrance door is raised 0.7″ (2 cm) with a restricted maneuvering space in front of the door of 39″ x 59″ (100 cm x 150 cm). The door is held open at all times. There is no natural light in the locker room and the light switches are at a height of 69″ (175 cm).
Office
You will find Studio 303’s office (#102) right next to the studio. It is an open workspace for employees, and artists are always welcome to come in , ask questions or say hello. The office is on floor level and is essentially made up of tables, chairs, a kitchenette with a fridge and a dining table located at the back of the office. There is a relatively small amount of maneuvering space in the office.
