The Studio 303 SPAs – Once a month, our studio becomes a coworking space. With tables set up around the studio, participants are invited to work on their own things in their own time.
Each SPA centers around a specific topic, with relevant mentors present to answer questions and share their expertise.
The schedule and set up is designed to recreate a day at the spa: a quiet space with foot baths and massage devices, yoga mats and cushions for stretching and rest, a community lunch midday (gluten free & vegan) and free 10 minute professional chair massage appointments throughout!
Need help finding the right words to present your projects? This Comms Spa is a day to write (or re-write) your project texts, your biographies, and/or your web content with the support of peers and skilled mentors. Mentors can review your texts, or help you practice presenting ideas verbally! Identifying the essence of what you need to convey and the best way to do so is their expertise.
MENTORS // Laurane Van Branteghem [Tangente] +Amélie Aumont [LaSerre] + Morgane Dugas [LaSerre]
Member of Tangente’s curatorial team and head of programming, Laurane Van Branteghem is also immersed in doctoral research into the transformative potential of contemporary dance works and institutions. She has shared her love of the performing arts through radio, writing and various round tables and lecture series. Through Tangente, she has had the opportunity to meet a multitude of projects by emerging contemporary dance artists, and to help them refine and deepen their ideas and artistic approaches.
Amélie Aumont is Strategic Development Director + Co-Executive Director + Privacy manager at La Serre, while Morgane Dugas is Communication & Digital Content Manager.
