CONTENT // It is a kind of research about the energetic states of the body. The proposal involves knowing how you can activate internal energy to generate external movement. It has a focus on resistance, breathing and especially on the vibration that accompanies your heart rate. The class seeks the discovery of new sensations that connect the mind, body and heart. It is an open process that constantly feeds on exploration and questions what arises in the day to day. I always wonder how much life is in the movement, what part of your heart is activated?
ACCESSIBILITY // Movement in Life (Contempo-Fusion Class) is a training based on experiencing and living energy through movement. Each day during the class we will experience how to increase our capacity to expand and empower the body’s energy to the maximum. The first part of the class is dedicated to breathing and whole body resistance exercises. Explanations will be addressed as they are being done. The music will be at a high volume at times and at others lower but always present generating an atmosphere. Then in the second part of the class we will approach the mobilization of energy through space with cardio, Afro-Venezuelan movements, jumps and an introduction to the energy that the krump dance generates. The class ends with guided personal exploration sessions focused on physical body energy management (holding, releasing, moving energy). The difficulty of the class increases day by day. During the class we use a lot of foot support on the floor, all parts of the body are engaged. We will have a break for water and fruit. The instructions can be quite adaptable.
