CONTENT
Through the magic of Feldenkrais, this class proposes exploring embodied stage presence centered around building parasympathetic bliss. Participants will discover the subtleties of the breath, soft self-touch, the deep neural connection between the toes, fingers and eyes, balance and function. These tools can heighten participants’ character play, improvisational skills, and dance while embodying their most authentic selves on stage. Participants are encouraged to let go of intellectual thinking for somatic mind-body experiences.

ACCESSIBILITY
This workshop offers a calm environment that will greet students through thought-provoking discussion, light game-play, and (non-sexual) self/partner exploration.

A day in this class will look like:

  1. Discussion
  2. An Improvisational game
  3. Self Exploration with Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement Lesson, specifically creating “Parasympathetic Bliss.”
  4. Embodied (non-sexual) self-touch exercises
  5. Embodied partner soft-touch work.
